Fishing

Fishing is a regular past time for those living in Yallourn North as well as its past residents. Many streams, rivers and dams are easily accessible for those who want to throw the quick line in. Other more tourist focused locations are within a comfortable drive in all directions. So Yallourn North is a central spot for those who want to head out for the big game.

Whether you stay in close and head to a lake or river, or whether you want to head further afield, there is a fish with your name on it just waiting to be caught.

The Yallourn North community are supported by a large Angling Club. They often head out to various spots for day trips and weekends to see what they can reel in. If you have an interest in fishing, it can’t hurt to pop in to their next meeting and introduce yourself. You never know, you just might find a spot to bring the big one in.
