Tyers Park

Tyers Park encompasses the fine scenery of the Tyers Gorge where the Tyers River winds between steep forested slopes. To the north of the township the area is often visited by locals and those from further afar. Boasting Connan Park Scout Camp and Wirilda Environment Park within its grasp, there is more than enough variety to warrant your return time and time again. The park is popular with bushwalkers and nature lovers, and has many attributes including fauna, wildlife, and geology. Several caves and mounds that were formed out of conglomerate rock eons ago can be found by the dedicated adventurer. It also has fishing, picnicking, and swimming areas suitable for your every outing.
